Sunset Cruise Tickets
Tickets are sold per seat and cost the same on either boat. Prices do not include food or drinks.
Triton tickets are 100% refundable if cancelled at least 24 hours before departure. Athena is booked through Athena Charters, so her terms are the ones shown at her checkout.
What a San Diego Sunset Cruise Is Like
Triton and Athena sail the same two-and-a-half-hour route as our San Diego harbor cruises — the difference is the light. Want the whole boat? Take a private yacht charter and we will build the evening around your group.
Board at Shelter Island
Boarding begins 30 minutes before departure. Meet the crew, find a seat on the deck or in the salon, and get your first drink from the bar.
Sails up in the bay
Out into open water off Shelter Island, the light already going warm. The crew raises the sail if the wind allows.
Past the naval base
Naval Air Station North Island, home port for aircraft carriers. Navy ships, helicopters overhead and naval operations up close, with the downtown skyline across the water.
Under the Coronado Bridge
Directly beneath it and back again, with the sun dropping behind it.
Golden hour on the water
Point Loma and the Hotel del Coronado on the shore, open decks on both hulls, and no bad angle on either boat.
Back to the dock
The city lights coming on across the water as you pass Portside Pier and the Star of India.

The view
Open decks on both hulls and a bow that faces west, so the sunset is not something you crane your neck for. Bean bags on Triton's bow, bench seating along the rails and a shaded salon on either boat.
The bar
Handcrafted cocktails, draft beer and wine by the glass, poured while the sky changes colour. Thirteen seats at Triton's bar and eleven at Athena's. See the drink menu.
The crew
A Coast Guard certified captain, a professional crew and a bartender on every sailing. On select sailings, live music or a DJ carries the evening as the light goes.

Good to Know
A few things worth doing before you leave the house.
- Boarding begins 30 minutes before departure — the cruise will not wait.
- Bring a light jacket. It cools off quickly once the sun is down.
- Free parking is at the rear of the Shelter Island lot, where there are no meters.
- Bring a camera. The last twenty minutes are the reason people rebook.
- Beer, wine, cocktails and soft drinks are available for purchase aboard.
